At first he gave us a template with the lines you see on the ground. Then he thought us how to use demission to make the cubes the exact size we needed. After he had us use the line or free hand tool to make our names.
Before we added textures he had us do a pre color We took different colors and colored the pieces of the house. We did this so we know where everthing was gonna go.
Finished product
After the house we made modern art in sketchup, rendered it, and animated it.
used the same steps as the house for coloring. Then we added it to blender and animated it. I am also working on a carousel in my free time. To make the horses I put a image of horse from the warehouse and traced it with the outline tool. After that I continued to make lines to fill it.
Once I had done that I tried to pull it, but it was a curved surface, so I couldn't. Instead I copied it, and am working on filling in between the horses. When I finish that I am going to copy the horse, and put it on the carousel. To make the carousel I made a copy of my modern art sculpture, and I moved It six feet up in the air to use as the roof. After that I made a octagon and pulled it 4ft up.Then I used the off set tool to make a step. To make the binger poles I just used circle, but to make the smaller ones I used a enneadecagon or a 29 sided shape. I used it to create the shape the you see where the pole attaches to the floor.
I made this at home in my free time. The hardest part was copying and repositioning all of the spheres. To make the handles I used the curvature tool.
The hardest part was trying to hallow out the rims . I also hope to remake it, but have it be more symmetrical, so I can make it actually move in animation.
