We used the gradient tool to make our text backgrounds.

Outlining the text to makes it more legible most of the time.
Adding text gradients makes them look nicer.
Bevel and Emboss is a nice text effect to give the text depth.
These are the images I used to make the My Favorite Things video, they had to have certain aspects to they would make the video cool and interesting.
I brightened them up and increased the saturation using Adobe Photoshop, this was to make them colorful and pop out to make them more appealing to the eye
I had to have the images be a certain size in order for them to fit well into the video, specifically, they had to be at least 2560 x 1440.
I needed to find good images that were interesting to zoom in on. like ones that have a lot going on so I could zoom in on one thing.
251027 My Favorite Things - Walden Venditti.mp4This is the final product! This is the My Favorite Things video that I made with Adobe Premiere. We had to import all the images that we collected and then edited, and add them to the timeline panel to make this slideshow like video. It was pretty fun to make! In order to make the camera zoom in as shown, we had to make keyframes that allow us to 'animate' where the camera moves, it was a little bit tricky for me at first, but once I go the hang of it it was pretty fun!
This project was a nice way to start multimedia (this was our first project), it taught me a lot about computers and how to use the softwares we would use for future projects.
A good trick is to find an image that is not too corporate, don't get images that are most likely from advertisements.
This is a good example of an image that would look good in your video, this is because there are many things that would be interesting to zoom in on, you can zoom into the waterfall, the mountain, and probably more that I haven't noticed.
