Hello this is the 3-d modeling page of my portfolio under this text is the different things I have made in the software (ordered by when I made them) Sketchup.

The first one is what I call cubes; the process to make "cubes" was relatively simply first make the name shown in the I'm using the free hand tool which allows you to draw lines freely. Then I added the cubes but first I used the rectangle tool to draw rectangles increasing the length and width of them by 5 feet each time. After that I added the height to the cubes using the push tool, and after changed it from the 2-d to 3-d I stacked them on top of each other, the way I did this was using the move tool and the up arrow to move it upwards. Finally I moved the name I made to be right in front of the cubes.

The next thing I made wasn't as simple: First I added the cubes for the house, and then I added the roof by drawing lines on the boxes I made and used the move tool once again to pull the lines up to create the roof. After I made the roof, I went under the "house" and used the offset tool to make the overhang by offsetting the house by a small amount and pulled the other shape upward using the pull tool, then I made the door by drawing a rectangle tool to make door frame and the door and the offset tool again to push the actual door. After I made the door I added the trim at the bottom of the house by using the follow me tool.

Finally the color which selecting the bucket tool and using different colors for place-holders and textures for the final product. I also made an animation of different angles of the house so here it is.

240129 Travis Sciantarelli Video recording of simple painted house..mp4

The video just shown was made with a software called ScreenPal as seen at the end, but that was just the appetizer. The next videos shown will be made in an animation software Blender (The REAL DEAL).

240212 House spin 3 Seconds Travis Sciantarelli0001-0090.mp4

3 Second House Spin

The video seen was made with Blender as just stated. To get the files into blender from sketch-up I imported it into a colada file and put the main content into blender. After I imported the file I started working. It was really simple, keyframe the starting position and then go to then end and rotate it 360 degrees.

240214 House Spin and Reverse 10 Seconds Travis Sciantarelli.mp4

10 Second House Spin and Reverse

This one was as simple as taking the other video, extending it and add a keyframe at the end so it goes back to 0 degrees.

240215 10 Second house Implosion Travis Sciantarelli.mp4

10 Second House Implosion

This one was made by going to the end, keyframing everything, and then got to the start and make everything values that are much more different.

240215 House Implosion and Spin 15 Seconds Travis Sciantarelli0001-0450.mp4

15 Second House spin and Implosion

This video was really quick and easy, just take the other video and add a 5 second rotation to it.

3-D Model for Printing

After I had made the house animations I started work on a 3-d model for printing I made 2 versions the first did not look very well but if you were curoius this is what it looked like!
