Finished project
It looks kinda generic (because it is), but besides that, it looks pretty nice. Learning to use Adobe Premiere was pretty hard, but its actually very fun.
I hope you enjoy!

Making of:
First step: We needed backgrounds.
We went to a free photoshop-esque website called Photopea (Photo-Pee or Photo-Pee-uh? Mr. Hicks says Photo-pee-uh, but I just say Photo-Pee). It was suprisingly good, for being free. The way we made it is by stacking the gradient tool with various blending modes. Mr. Hicks had us start with the basic difference filter, which worked okay, but then I tried some of the other blending modes which also worked pretty well.
My favorite. I have no idea how I made the background but it looks good.
Used to be plain and boring, but I added some more color and now it looks really nice.
This one is also cool. Its extremely detailed!
My least favorite. I'm not sure why, but its just not that interesting.
Tips for making better backgrounds and text:
Don't make all of them have similar colors. An easy way to add color is to change blending mode to screen and drag a nice color gradient over the entire picture. This method also works for changing brightness.
Add variability to the background by changing the gradient to noise and reducing opacity. Its subtle, but looks pretty cool if you do it right.
On the text, you can change the blending mode to screen so that the background bleeds in slightly. But be careful, because it may make it harder to read.
Instead of having a white glow around your text, make the glow the background color but lighter. It looks better in my opinion.
Here are the images I picked for my slides!
Most were pretty easy to find, like writing and drawing, but for more specific things like scratch, I had to settle for worse images. The scratch picture has a giant arrow, but I'll just move the camera around it. Mr. Hicks let us edit the images so I edited the ones for the pizza and the ice cream. The original ice cream picture was barely even green, so I had to change that. Mint Chocolate chip ice cream is 100% the best ice cream flavor. If you disagree, you are wrong.
How to find good images:
Click here so you can only get images over a certain size. If your images are way too tiny, you won't have space to move them around once you make your actual video. (Make sure to select Images first)
You are gonna get taken to a really big white page. Click on image size -> larger than 8 MP. The images have to be around that size, but 6 MP could also work.
This is a great image, but way too blurry. Zooming in on this would look terrible. Sometimes you may be able to only zoom in on the non-blurry parts, but use with caution.
Avoid pictures like this. They feel very corporate and boring, and the white background is not very interesting to zoom in on.
