Various Tips:
For the really nice banners on top, you are supposed to crop the old backgrounds in your video. However, I used 4, but we need like 9. I had a few extra, but I was still a little short. To fix this, you can recycle the banners you already have. Let me explain how.
As you can see here, I have many
backgrounds.
If it was kept like this, you would only see the top one. By pressing the eye on the left side of them, show only the ones you want to combine.
Click here to change the blending modes on the top layers.
This will allow the lower ones to bleed through in cool ways, allowing for tons of customization; you can pick many blending modes, change the opacity, flip the image vertically and horizontally, and if you really want to get fancy, re-arrange the layers.
Go to Coolors.co to find a good color palette for your website. It's pretty simple to use, just press [space] to generate a new palette.
Here's what it looks like when you hover over a color. Let me explain each symbol.
X - Delete the color, leaving you with a smaller palette.
Semicircle - Disregard; just shows text color.
Grid - Change the brightness of the color.
Heart - Disregard; you need to sign in to use.
Arrows - Click and drag to move the color.
Squares - Copy to clipboard.
Lock - Save the color when pressing [SPACE]
