Here I will be talking about the art I created in Adobe Illustrator Vector Art. This will include 3D and 2D art. This all has been done in Mr. Hicks class.

This is my first project in Vector Graphics. To make the circles look 3d I used bevel and emboss on each of them. We used Ctrl to keep the circle in the middle, and we used Shift to have the circle keeps its shape.
Using different types of strokes can change how the project looks. For example I had used a stroke where it starts to get more pointed as it goes on. Fills help you cover more space with a color then when manually doing it. For example if you were to make a circle, and use the fill tool then select the color you want to use, and then click inside of the circle and that will fill it. Gradients aren't usually what someone expects. Gradients are made up of tons of colors, and that is what happens when ever you blend two colors together. So if you are thinking of making a shirt then be careful with what color you use and how you change them.
Bitmap images are where the images are all pixelated, and aren't smooth and straight. Vector images are the opposite of bitmap images where vector images are all smooth, and easy in to see small details in.
This is one of the eight 3D art projects I have made using inflate on Adobe Illustrator.
This is my emoji face that I created in Adobe Illustrator.
This is the body to my emoji face, I used a gradient on the body parts to make it look 3D.
This is my monster that I drew in ELAR class using greek and latin roots. I used photoshop to make my drawing look brighter, and more full.
Ta-da!
This is the final result of my monster GIF animation.
This is my full animation/MP4 video of my root word monster with a background.
For future uses if you were to make an animation of something like I did with my monster, make sure that you use a color that is opposite on the color wheel to the colors that you are using for your animation.
These are most of my 3D rendering projects in Adobe Illustrator.
Extra tips:
Using pucker and bloat for certain shapes can get the shapes to look all crazy and everything, but if you use it in a very specific way you can make smaller things like little monsters or something else that you would want.
When exporting PNGs in any of the adobe apps is really easy once you get used to it. When you've created the thing you want fo to file, export, and then export as Png or you could also pick Save as which will bring you to file explorer. From there you pick the folder you want to put it in, name it, and then select what you want it as jpeg, Png, etc. When exporting you want to use transparency, because if you don't you will just have a background with the picture you want alone.
Whenever you want to move your project into after effects all you have to do is open after effects go to file, import, that will bring you to file explorer where you can from there select the project you want to put in there. Oh, and if I haven't said this before you HAVE TO name EVERY file and folder you put into file explorer, because here at DATA we have tons of folders and projects that are each individually named, because if there are two things named the same thing in the same folder one of them will override the other getting rid of it.
When is premiere pro or after effects you can keyframe. What are keyframes? Well keyframes are practically anchors that you use when animating something. You can use keyframes for anything. Whenever you import something into premiere or after effects you use those apps to animate. Keyframes you can use to end clips or begin clips. In my My Favorite Things video you can see the pictures being zoomed in, and zoomed out that is with keyframes. When using keyframes you have to make sure there are two for each action one to began it, and one to end to avoid something being messed up.
When exporting as a GIF or MP4 can sometimes be confusing depending on what you use it for. For both of them you have to run them through Adobe Media Encoder. What Media Encoder does is that it renders videos to better quality that is meant for viewing. An MP4 is like a mini movie that you can watch for occasions, and Gifs are something send through text as a little inside joke between you and your friends.
The brush tool on Adobe Illustrator is used to make little strokes not really liked to be used for filling something up. The blob brush is something you can use to make little shapes however you want to, or you could also use it to make small designs on your project. In adobe illustrator there are these dots that allow you to curve certain shapes in your design.
The puppet pin tool is something you can use to pin something or things down when moving others.
Whenever you want to create a perfect looping animation in after effects all you have to do is make the animation you want your thing to do then copy the keyframes you used paste them next to the last one for the first part of the loop from there you can adjust it to make sure it looks like the perfect loop.
Remember to name layers when using an app that has layers. Naming layers is important, becuase the names help you understand which layer you should be working/drawing on.
