💙⛰️WELCOME TO MY FAVORITE THINGS!⛰️💙
This is my video! It's all about my favorite things (just in case you couldn't tell)! It took me about 9 weeks to completely make the video, including gathering up my photos and making my backgrounds. I hope you like it!
My video!
I first gathered up my photos with an advanced search (link in next paragraph) for my favorite things. This video took about 2 weeks to complete. After collecting about 18 photos, one set of nine I like and another set of 9 for extras, I moved onto making backgrounds that are shown below. Those took me 2 weeks to make and about half a week to put fonts on the backgrounds. Finally, it was time to actually make the video! I used Premier Pro. I didn't use the exact website shown, I used File Explorer to access the actual Premier Pro to make the video. I did all sorts of cool stuff, like keyframing (animating), transitions, and zoom ins! The transitions were easily my favorite part because there was an endless amount of transitions to choose from! I choose the 'Whip' transition, which is one of the newer transitions. It took a little over 2 weeks. Although there were some up and downs in the creation of the video, I think it came out great!
My
Backgrounds!
"What are these?" you may be wondering. These are my backgrounds! No, these backgrounds were not made with Canva. They were used with a special program named Photopea. It's just like Photoshop, but its free and just as useful! I used an effect called 'Outer Glow' to get, well, the outer glow. It gives the text and the background color contrast so the text can be easy to read. "How did you make the backgrounds so unique?" I used two background effects called Difference and Hue. I also used shapes in all of them, which is the Linear effect. Shadows also help to make the text bolder and more unique! I also used something called Bevel and Emboss to do all the cool effects on my text. I did eventually use Photoshop to do some more adjustments!
My Favorite Things!
Here are my images that I used in my video! In order to get a good image, you need to get a picture that's a good size, not too blurry when zoomed in, and make sure that it's high quality! A useful tool for this is called Google Images Advanced Search. This advanced search is very useful when you need to look for a specific photo with unique features, like size and what colors you want to appear in your pictures! I used this the whole time I was looking for images. You can try it yourself and see that it truly is amazing! (Pictures and description below!)
I've been playing soccer every since I was 3 years old. I am now in an amazing soccer club named Lonestar. I joined in the summer of 2024. I play left and right wing. I don't play goalie at all!
I love to play basketball even though I'm not on a team. I also love watching basketball. I love the SA Spurs, but hate the Houston Mavericks (tell me if you feel the same!). I love defending in basketball.
I'm a level 6 skier, so this means I can ski down harder trails. The official name for these trails are called Black Diamonds. I went down "West side", and it was really long and fast! It was just going straight down, so I had to swivel around so I didn't go out of control. I've been skiing for a little over 4 years. I love it!
I've always loved any and every shade of blue, but Periwinkle is my favorite! It's a mixture of dark blue with a little purple, and it's just amazing!
I can be very picky when it comes to picking a certain shade of green. I'm not interested in the darker and more plain versions of green such as Grass Green, but I am absolutely in LOVE with lighter and more energetic shades like Mint Green. Still, my favorite shade of green is Seafoam Green.
Like I said earlier, I love to ski. I ski every year in Steamboat. I love to ski with my family. We always go down 1 very easy but incredibly fun trail named "Why Not". It is the longest run in Steamboat and the 6th longest in Colorado. It takes me about 30-40 minutes to do it from top to bottom. It's also known to connect other trails onto it. Everyone who's been down it loves it!
I got to visit Boston in the summer of 2024. I went to all sorts of cool places, such as the Museum of Science, Harvard, and M.I.T. Of course, I wasn't able to go inside because it would be a distraction to students, but I was able to take a photo! I also got to see the official spot where the Boston Tea Party happened! And the food...it was amazing! It's definitely the best I've ever tasted.
Most people go to Orlando for Disney World, not me! Universal is so much bigger and it has Harry Potter World (a big deal for me). They have the BEST rides there. My favorite was Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure. I recommend it! It seems scary, but it's really not that bad once you get on! My favorite part was it speeding up when you're just going forward.
