Desert Tessellation Challenge
Desert Tessellation Challenge
Create a tessellation of an organism or feature that occupies our desert environment. Examples and video guides are bellow.
Pen and paper art not your thing? Create a tessellation using an online simulator here! Below is an example Mr. Schjetne made. Can you see the rabbits hiding behind the bushes?
Pen and paper art not your thing? Create a tessellation using an online simulator here! Below is an example Mr. Schjetne made. Can you see the rabbits hiding behind the bushes?
Submissions should be turned in no later than May 6, 2021. Please submit your art by bringing the finished piece to the front office between 7AM and 3PM.
Finished pieces need a piece of paper attached to the art work with the following information:
To: Mr Schjetne
Name: (First and last)
Title: (you must give your art a title, example "Penguin on Vacation")
Description: (a short description of what this art piece is of, example " 'Penguin on Vacation' is a watercolor of a penguin excited for a vacation on a tropical beach.")
Materials: (a list of the art supplies used in the art piece, example, watercolor, pen, and paper)
Date of submission: the date you bring it to the office
Art Supplies can be requested by emailing Mr. Schjetne at mschjetne@stu.morongo.k12.ca.us.
Supplies that are readily available:
Acrylic paints
Water colors
Paper
Paint brushes
Small canvases
Other supplies may be available or can be purchased, make a special request to Mr. Schjetne
