I am a student ex-officio Parks and Recreation Commissioner for Pico Rivera. I attend meetings held by the city´s Parks and Recreation department and learn about upcoming city event and programs that run through the department. We give feedback and suggestions on improvements. We are also assigned a park to monitor and to report back on. 

I am a member of the Teen Advisory Board at the Pico Rivera Library. I work with other teens to come up with suggestions for new programs and services for the library.  We also plan themed events based on the month and holidays being celebrated that month. 

I am an ambassador on the Metro Youth Council representing the Gateway Cities area. I along with other teens attend monthly meetings about Metro programs, projects, and initiatives for the future and give our perspectives on them. We attend Metro events and summits as well to representing the Youth Council.
