This term, we are starting with Speeches for the first three weeks. After that, we will move into Cause and Effect writing, which will lead into a full essay at the end of the term. To help us write our essays, our main goals will be practicing and improving our sentence structure, paragraphs, and punctuation. 

Term 3 Speech Topic

Topic - Our Roots, Our Voice, Our Future - when we know who we are and where we come from we can achieve anything. 

Writing progressions for your child can be found on Hero.

All students will have a range of progressions based on their individual needs. Progressions will be 'live', being assigned and marked off as they are taught by your child's teacher. Please check your child's Hero to view these as they become available.
