Each Monday your child will bring home two homework sheets in their homework book – one Maths-based activity from your child’s Math teacher, and one Literacy-based activity. The expectation is that all students complete these before the end of the week, with homework books being collected in on Friday. On top of this, students should be reading each night.
The activities are designed to not require device use, and to take no more than one hour per week.
Homework will continue to come home weeks 2-9 this term, however with Science Fair and Speeches happening at the moment, the expectation is that instead of literacy homework, the students are working on these. A literacy homework sheet will begin coming home when these are both complete. One Math-based activity will still be coming home from your child’s Math teacher in weeks 2-9.
