Career and School Planning Tools

As part of many school's comprehensive school counseling program, students grades K-8 explore topics of career education and interests. In elementary school, students read stories and learn about different jobs that may sound fun, interesting, and fit their skills. Students learn about vocations and different callings people may have in life. As students grow older, they may start to match their interests to jobs and explore more understanding of education, salary, and job prospects through online searches on mynextmove.org. In upper middle school, students look through these value and interest inventory as well as explore colleges and technical schools that have programs in their fields of interest. We explore college and technical tracks as well as prospective testing for fields of study. Please enjoy some of the tools educators and school counselors use during our career exploration.
