St Therese of Lisieux (France) is our saint, our ancestor, our namesake, our role model.
Our school was founded by Mercy Sisters.
St Teresa’s is our school. Our values are compassion, hospitality, respect, service, excellence and social justice.
The Sisters of Mercy founded St Teresa's School.
We continue to promote Mercy Values as part of our Kaupapa.
Our school is named after Sainte Thérèse de Lisieux, who continues to be a highly influential role model because of the simplicity and practicality of her approach to spiritual life.
St Teresa's School began in February 1931 - built by on the grounds of St Teresa's Church.
We have a rich history and are proud to be part of the Otari Parish community.
