We are more than just a local business...

In the early 1900s, Roy Sands pioneered the "Paupack Coal Company", which was acquired by Walter Kostige in 1937. With a vision of growth, Walter introduced Fuel Oil sales in 1956, renaming it to “Paupack Coal & Fuel Oil”. By 1987, the torch passed to Walter's daughter Linda Strong and her husband Mike. The 90s saw the dynamic entry of Chris Strong, who took the reigns on the family business and redefined it by selling its coal side and establishing “Paupack Fuel Oil”. With a knack for evolution, Chris, in 1999, integrated Oil Burner and Plumbing Services under an umbrella corporation named "Strong Enterprises". The following years saw acquisitions, expansions, and the entrance of the fourth generation, Ryan Strong in 2013. 2023 brought the next step in evolving in the industry as Button Oil purchased the fuel sales/delivery business “Paupack Fuel”. This allowed “Strong Enterprises” to immerse deeper into Ryan's skillset and focus on cutting-edge HVAC technologies. Today, as a testament to strong relationships, resilience and growth, Strong Enterprises offers a vast range of products and services including HVAC, Plumbing, Electric and much more.
