Position 1: "Wellness Service Provider": Children Focused
The Wellness Service Provider will address diverse life skill development focused on meaningful
individual and family goals to support holistic independence, recovery, and wellness within a children's mental health based program.
Play based, relational and collaborative services will be provided within client’s homes, natural community contexts, and
other supporting environments. The Wellness Service Provider will join alongside the client to develop safe, fun, and meaningful plans within the greater context of the client’s big picture of recovery. The applicant will influence “low load, long duration” movement through the behavior change model through authentic shared interests and will encourage long lasting, genuine, relationship based change through their unique therapeutic use of self.
Education and Experience:
Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in direct service delivery within the following fields of study: occupational therapy or special education teaching. Mental health setting experience preferred.
Position 2: Professional Counselor - training licensure (LPC-IT, PCTL, etc.):
Strive Wellness is seeking a licensed professional counselor in training to deliver psychotherapy / psychoeducation services to any population preferred within a mental health based community setting. Strive Wellness serves children, parents/caregivers, and adults.
Education and Experience:
The "LPC-IT, PCTL, etc" must have acquired a professional counselor training license and be ready to accrue supervised practice hours for full professional counselor licensure. Strive Wellness will provide supervision from an accredited and approved LPC to fulfill your supervision requirements.
Position 3: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC):
Strive Wellness is seeking a licensed professional counselor to deliver psychotherapy / psychoeducation services to any population preferred within a mental health based community setting. Strive Wellness serves children, parents, and adults.
Education and Experience:
The LPC must have already completed their practicum and internship, period of supervised work experience, and have passed an approved national counseling examination to practice within the state of Wisconsin.
