Volunteers worked hard at this site, primarily owned by St. Louis County Parks, to get the trash out. LoWG Stream Teams 211 and 4922 provided equipment to move and haul trash. Community and stream team volunteers spread out across the 40 plus acre site, collecting trash throughout the area. Along with smaller trash, crazy big items were removed; boats, a 500 Gal. tank, appliances, a jet ski, engine blocks and more. Bernie Arnold (Stream Team 211) continued cleaning this site almost daily thru mid March. Solo, he filled a second 40 cu. yd. dumpster, removed a rusting van, large scrap metal, more boats, and multiple tires. Big thanks to St. Louis County Parks for providing dumpsters and to Winter Brothers Material Co. for allowing access to their property.

Total trash removed

11,920 lbs of scrap metal (5.96 Tons)

18,780 lbs of trash (9.39 Tons)

130 tires and 3 farm tractor tires
