Strange & Selfless started with a simple choice: to look at the people everyone else walks past and say, "I see you."
Right now, our work is on the ground here in Charlotte. We’re out there providing food, water, and a real human connection to our neighbors. These aren't just "handouts"—they are a way to meet a neighbor where they are and to remind them that they haven't been forgotten. It’s about giving someone the chance to catch their breath today so they can keep going tomorrow.
But we’re just getting started!
We aren't stopping at a meal or a bottle of water. We’re building a movement that refuses to be seasonal or "just for show." As we grow, we’re laying the foundation for real, grit-and-grace support: mentorship, helping people navigate the systems that feel like brick walls, and creating community events where you don't have to "qualify" to be included.
We are growing this thing step by step, heart-first, and with zero pretense. Our goal is to create a space where care is a given, not a reward for struggling "hard enough." We’re rebuilding the idea of community, and we’re grateful you’re standing here with us as we do.
Thanks, Bre'Asia , for caring about our neighbors!
