Hello Kindergarten families! I'm thrilled to be working with you this school year!

My passion is early childhood and I have taught preschool, K and 2nd. This will be my 10th year in kindergarten and 15th year in an early childhood setting :) I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, as well as a master's degree in Early Childhood and Family Development, all from MSU. Go Bears! I thoroughly enjoy working as a team with my students' families and I look forward to learning all about you! I can't wait to tell you about "Family Friday", a program I started during my grad work to help you be engaged in our classroom and participate in the learning : ) I know you will love it!

I believe all children learn best through play, and playful/hands-on activities, lessons and experiences. New knowledge sticks best through play, song, movement, and regular engagement with peers and teachers. It is my mission to build strong relationships with all of my students so I can best meet their needs and tailor my lessons around their interests and unique abilities. My goal is to make learning fun and instill a love for school in my kindergartners. Please let me know how I can best serve your child and your family this year!
