SPX's School Counseling Program is grounded in the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) standards, outlined by the Second Step Curriculum, and guided by Catholic values. I strive to support the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth of every student, fostering resilience, compassion, and a strong moral foundation. Through classroom lessons, small groups, and individual counseling, it is my goal to empower students to develop lifelong skills, strengthen relationships, and live out their faith in all they do.
I meet with students one-on-one in grades K–8 to support their unique needs, whether that’s building social skills, working through conflicts, finding strategies for academic success, or managing emotions.
Small group counseling is available for students in grades K-8 and provides a supportive space to grow alongside peers. Groups are formed with students of similar ages and shared goals, allowing them to practice skills, build confidence, and learn from one another. Students may be referred by a parent, teacher, or through self-referral.
