Technology Grade 6 - Both Homerooms

This is a repeat of Monday's. If you did this class on Monday, you don't have to do it again.

First, Go to Google classroom and check your Rectangle/Round Score. Anyone with a score below 18 needs to finish/fix today. I will offer a 11:00 am help only Zoom on Monday and Tuesday for those having trouble with that. Day 3 video for the rectangle pans, Day 8 for the round. Due April 7.

For everyone else with a score 18-20, go Google classroom for Day 13 Code.org either today or tomorrow. This is a participation grade, I can see what you complete. Start where you left off, and do your best to complete. Go back and try again if it doesn't work. If you forgot your secret words, email me and I'll get it to you. Due April 7.

And two of you already finished Code.org! I didn't assign you any new Code.org. Relax! Do Scratch if you like. Thanks for your good work.


Creative Digital Arts

  1. Go to Google classroom for updates and start the Google site that you will be creating in April. Turn in by sharing your website link.

  2. Look what you have not turned in and complete that. I should either have your Still life presentation with its images and your website link, or you need to email me about your work. Easter Blessings to you all!

Science

Now that we know a little bit more about ionic bonds (bonds between a metals and nonmetals), we are going to be looking at covalent bonds (bonds between 2 nonmetals). There will be a little more to do on your Hyperdoc in Google Classroom.

Your QUIZ is attached to Google classroom. You will need book page 364 to complete a lot of it.

There are also instructions to follow in order to submit work to me before you are on "Spring Break".

  1. Topic: Continue project in your existing Tinkercad or Scratch accounts. Don't make a new account, use the one for our class.

  2. Watch this video explaining your independent project.

  3. Sign on to your account, contact me if you cannot log in.

  4. Assignment: Continue working on your own to improve an existing ORIGINAL file, or start a new one.

  5. 5 Points: In the assignment turn-in, take a screen shot when you are done working with your project today, and "add" it to the assignment. This screen shot is not the finished product, but to help you and I see progress each time. One of you has to send me the link to it.
    If you have questions, you can email me or do a private post in classroom. (I don't get notification though in classroom, but I'll see it when I open it next)

  6. Skills: drawing to scale, using dimensions, working with spacial drawing, planning, editing, critical thinking.
