Central's theatre program offers an inclusive and comprehensive theatre arts experience to all students. We offer a wide variety of theatre classes, where students study acting, musical theatre, technical aspects of theatre, improvisation, and other rotating topics. Students sharpen their craft through in-class collaborative work and/or theatrical productions. We offer three productions per year, including a student-directed cabaret. We invite you to explore this site for more information and to come experience our winter cabaret. From all of the theatre program staff at Central, we look forward to meeting you.
Central's enduring theatre program can trace its roots to the founding of a drama club
by students in 1905 - a vibrant contribution to Minnesota's oldest high school!
NEWSIES TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE on
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 at 8am.
The St. Paul Central Theatre Program is excited to share that we will begin selling tickets to Newsies on October 31st at 8am. Due to the popularity of our productions we recommend you purchase your tickets as soon as possible to guarantee your seating.
-Online ticket sales will be Adult pricing only.
-For those needing disability seating, please contact our support team at tickets@centraltheatreboosters.org.
-For those with redeemable codes you are able to use them at the same time as purchasing any additional tickets you may need.
-We reserve about 50% of tickets to purchase on-site before each show.
Any pre-purchased tickets that have not been scanned onsite by 5 minutes before showtime may be released and re-sold if there is a standby line present. If you know you cannot use all of your pre-purchased tickets, please email us at tickets@centraltheatreboosters.org. We can only provide refunds if the show is canceled or rescheduled, so unused tickets will be marked as a donation and a receipt will be provided for tax purposes upon request.

Volunteers are vital to Central’s theatre program. It is only with the generosity and dedication of people like you that we can continue to offer fulfilling theatrical experiences to our students.
