The last day to submit AVID applications for the 2026-2027 school year is April 3!!.
What if there was a class that helps you become a stronger student and a leader?
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is an elective built into your school day where you’ll learn how to lead your own learning and support others along the way. In AVID, you’ll build real skills like writing, organization, collaboration, and critical thinking—skills that help you succeed in every class.
This is a leadership class where you’ll learn how to speak up, take initiative, and advocate for yourself and your goals. You’ll work closely with a supportive group of peers, build strong relationships, and grow your confidence.
AVID students also visit college campuses, explore future opportunities, and challenge themselves in rigorous courses—with support. We learn how to work together through difficult material, ask better questions, and think at a higher level.
If you’re ready to step up, take ownership of your future, and grow as a leader—AVID is for you.
