Sports in Our School

Soccer

Our football team are doing really well and true in the FAI Cup this year. The team made it into the DublinSenior Cup quarter final. They have only lost one game so far out of 8. We had our 5 a side blitz and it was great, we only lost 1 match out of 3. We had a friendly match against Educate Together too. Our home pitch is in Ballymastone and it’s an all weather Astro pitch.

🏐 Gaelic

Mr. Leen and Ms. Shelly put on a mini tournament for the 5th and 6th boys and Ms.Doyle and Ms. Kiernan put on a tournament for the 3rd and 4th boys. GAA for all was a great success this year.

Rugby

Ms.Shelly's and Mr.Leen's class were invited to participate in a rugby blitz at the Malahide rugby pitches. It was very fun.

Tennis

The two first classes played tennis. They enjoyed playing mini matches and holding the rackets.

Hockey

Anthony for Portnrane Hockey Club comes in every week to teach the boys how to play hockey. We play mini matches and loads more. It's very fun.

Cycling

Ms. Carron and Mr Manning's 5th classes were doing some cycling.They loved to learn the rules of the road and getting to cycle in school.
