Homicide at Heaven’s Gate is a genre-bending murder mystery set during the grand opening of the world’s first luxury resort on the Moon. What begins as a historic milestone for humanity quickly becomes something else entirely when a guest is found murdered inside the isolated, high-tech facility.
With no way off the Moon and no outside help coming, the guests and staff are trapped together as the investigation unfolds and secrets begin to surface.
The series blends classic murder mystery with a sleek science fiction setting, creating a contained thriller set at the edge of humanity’s next frontier.
At the grand opening of a luxury lunar resort, a guest is murdered. Trapped in an isolated facility, two detectives must unravel a web of secrets before the killer strikes again.
The story combines the structure of a classic whodunit with the world of near-future space travel — think Knives Out meets The Expanse, or And Then There Were None aboard a moon resort.
Originally created as an award-winning audio drama written and directed by Richard C. Mills and produced by Sentinel Studios, the series has already demonstrated strong world-building, performances, and audience reception, and is well positioned for adaptation into a prestige live-action limited series.
