Rising Tides is a heartfelt, 10-episode documentary series that explores how resilience, compassion, and community can transform lives. Hosted by award-winning author Jonathon McClellan—whose own journey from homelessness to hope inspires every frame—the series blends intimate storytelling with powerful social impact, offering a timely antidote to a world that often feels divided.

With real stories, diverse voices, and a unifying message, Rising Tides is primed for premium distribution across platforms looking to uplift and engage audiences through socially-driven, character-first content.

The Series:

Each episode dives into the lives of individuals who’ve faced emotional, financial, or societal hardship—only to discover renewal through the strength of their communities. From mental health advocates and disabled artists to LGBTQ+ leaders and grassroots organizers, Rising Tides captures the emotional highs and lows of transformation, showing that no challenge is insurmountable when people come together.

Think Queer Eye meets Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown—but focused on healing, belonging, and real-world resilience. With 10 half-hour episodes, the series is both easily consumable and powerfully binge-worthy, offering potential for long-tail audience growth and franchise expansion.

The Opportunity:

This is more than just a documentary series—it’s a movement in the making. Rising Tides provides early production, financing, and brand partners with the chance to align with purpose-driven storytelling that’s both emotionally resonant and commercially viable.

At the intersection of social justice, personal growth, and human connection, Rising Tides offers a timely platform for cause-based marketing, branded integration, and long-term IP development in an underserved but deeply engaged market.

We are currently seeking aligned partners to co-develop and distribute the series. Early involvement includes access to creative input, exclusive brand positioning, and shared ownership in a series designed to uplift hearts and change minds.

Our incubator model provides hand-on learning for our Series creators, paid work for industry professionals, and maximum value for our studio partners. 

Budget Allocation:
- $50,000    Audience Building
- $50,000    Development Costs
- $50,000    Foundation Operations
- $100,000  Creative Proof of Concept (POC)

Target Surplus:

In the event the target goal is surpassed, the excess funds will be distributed in the following way:

• 70% Project Fund (Discretionary Spending)

• 20% Foundation Operations

• 5% Showrunner Stipend

• 5% Charitable Donation
