Project Goals:
Present an in-depth analysis linking sea level rise with extreme weather patterns.
Offer evidence-based recommendations aligned with the Paris Agreement.
Spotlight successful adaptation strategies for application in diverse regions.
Our project aims to research the interconnected effects of climate change, focusing on extreme weather events and rising sea levels. By examining data from authoritative sources such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), International Energy Agency (IEA), International Maritime Organization (IMO), and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), etc., we seek to understand how these phenomena influence each other and their combined impact on global ecosystems and human populations.
We plan to provide a comprehensive analysis that links the acceleration of sea level rise with the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. This analysis will offer insights into the cascading risks posed by climate change, assisting policymakers, environmental organizations, and the public in recognizing the seriousness of these issues.
Our goal is to equip communities with evidence-based recommendations aligned with international agreements, such as the Paris Agreement, to help countries devise effective adaptation and mitigation strategies for future resilience. By highlighting successful adaptation strategies from various regions, we aim to contribute meaningful recommendations that prioritize both environmental sustainability and human security.
