In the Rights section, you can manage the rights associated with your content. This is also where you’ll first create an asset, such as a movie or series.
As a Delta user, you may own the content and set any license you prefer. However, if you’ve acquired the rights to distribute the content, those rights typically come with specific conditions set by the Content Provider (the rights owner in Delta). These conditions may include limitations on regions for distribution, streaming platforms, business types, video protection requirements, and more.
Asset and Rights Properties
Properties for a Movie Asset
Working Title: This is the temporary title, which can be in the original language and will not be exported. During the process, Delta will export both the localized title and the original title, which will be set later. When the asset transitions from Planning to Preparing, a string ID (StrId) will be created based on the working title. This string ID will be used for folder and file names in the distribution.
External ID: [ExtId] This is the ID from an external system if the asset was imported into Delta.
External ID 2: [ExtId_2] This is another ID from an external system if the asset was imported into Delta.
Content Provider: The studio that produced the content or the rights owner who provided the content.
Licenses: The start and end dates for the asset within a region and business type.
Allow Export: This specifies which streaming platforms the asset can be delivered to.
Focus: If the title is important and needs to be highlighted in the workflow and marketing of the title.
Short Publish Date: A boolean value used for Amazon exports. Normally, assets are published 30 days after notification to Amazon. This setting can override the 30-day rule and set the license start date on Amazon as defined in the Rights.
Express: This option allows you to request faster handling of the asset preparation, especially the creation of the mezzanine video and subtitles, for an additional cost (when Stockholm Stream handles the work).
DRM: A flag that indicates whether the content must be DRM-protected when the end user plays it. DRM protection is applied on the platform. If the platform does not support DRM, the content should not be exported.
Subscription Package: You can select a predefined subscription package for the asset. Currently, this is only used for the Magine export.
For Seasons and Episodes, you also set:
Season Number
Episode Number
In Delta, 4 tasks have to be set to Done to be able to export the material to the delivery platforms. Info, Images, Subtitle and Media.

Original Language: The main language of the production
Categories: Select categories based on production content.
First release date: First official release date.
Production Countries: If an episode takes place in multiple countries, such as the USA and Canada, both should be added to the Production Countries for that episode/series/season.
Tags: Tags are supported by some platforms to match content, can also be used for your company to internally keep track of different genres/categories.
Rating: Select rating based on production content.
Cast & Crew: Is a list of Actors, Directors, Producers. Actors & Directors are required
Actors: Actor(s) in the content. (Maximum 100 names). When you add an Actor, you will get the option to choose Character. Some production companies wrongly enter Himself in that field for the characters, but Himself should not be used for Documentaries or Reality TV. Character would be used for an actor who plays a role in a movie or series, like Batman for Christoph Waltz.
Note: The list of actors you create will be shown in the exact order you enter the names. If you want the "star" of the show to appear first, make sure to put their name at the top of the list.
