Introducing the New Support Ticket System in Delta
We’ve made it easier than ever to get help or share feedback! You can now report issues, request features, or ask questions directly within Delta - all from our brand new built-in Support Ticket system.
When logged in, just click the question mark icon in the top right corner and select "Support tickets." From there, you can create new tickets, view open or closed ones, reply, and track progress in real time.
Each ticket moves through clear stages:
Created → Open → Awaiting customer → Closed - with notifications along the way (if you're following the ticket).
When creating a ticket, just fill in a short title, a detailed description, choose the type and priority, and add any helpful attachments. You can also edit tickets later or update their status as needed. It's a quick and easy way to stay connected with our support team and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
CheckIn using VideoTool
We’ve introduced a new method for checking in video files in Delta. While the traditional check-in process still remains available, the new option will become the standard way to check-in your video files moving forward.
After uploading a video file to an existing asset, in the Media section of Tasks, you will now have the opportunity to select Checkin with VideoTool.
After selecting Checkin with VideoTool, your uploaded video will appear in the VideoTool. In this view, you can review the video quality, choose the media type (Feature or Trailer), and set the audio language.
After approving, the checked-in video file will appear as usual in the assets’ media section.
If you instead upload the video file from an Aspera folder, you will now have the option to Checkin with VideoTool right below the video thumbnails.
If you navigated to the video check-in view by clicking on the 'Checkin' section in the top menu, you will also need to select what asset to which the video should be assigned:
After approving, the checked-in video file will appear as usual in the assets’ media section.
Updates on Create and manage series rights with less clicks
We’ve made a few updates to the rights view. While nothing major, these changes are designed to enhance both user-friendliness and security
Users must now confirm any changes before leaving the rights view. This works the same way as in the task view, where users must confirm changes before navigating to a different page.
The Content Provider field is now mandatory.
An Update Exports button has been added.
Users can now delete an entire season from the series' rights view. It's important to know that deleting a season will also permanently remove all episodes within that season.
CheckIn media files
During the Aspera checkin process, Delta will now generate a proxy file. This allows you to preview the video before approving it, aligning the workflow with the existing upload feature on the Delta website. Additionally, it opens the door for more advanced quality control (QC) measures using the proxy file in the future.
There are two ways to check in your files:
1. Go directly to the Checkin view and start check-in in your files. When proxy is created, you can choose View below "Proxy Video" (see image) and also select what asset video should be added to.
2. Go to Task view for selected asset, navigate to Media section and select Checkin files. On the Checkin view, Select asset will not be available since asset has already been selected.
Multi-factor Authentication
Admins can now activate MFA for all brand users, this will improve the security for your content. Since Delta will store id information about the user's device, a user will only need to login with MFA once a month, if using the same device/computer.
Subtitle Pro
We have implemented a new subtitle conversion feature, called "Subtitle Pro", where you can convert subtitle formats from, for example, .srt to .scc, .itt, .vtt - and more. With Subtitle Pro, you can now easily convert subtitle files without having to download the .srt file and convert it yourselves.
AI Subtitles
We are excited to announce our partnership with a reliable provider of AI-powered subtitles. Known for their consistent performance, this company utilizes machine learning algorithms to deliver accurate transcriptions and translations across a variety of languages. Their technology ensures well-timed and context-aware translations, enabling us to offer high-quality results at an affordable price.
In addition to being cost-effective, the service provides several key benefits: subtitles in 160 languages, faster-than-real-time generation to enhance workflows, and automatic 2-frame gaps between subtitles to meet Amazon’s standards, minimizing the need for manual adjustments.

Video Tool
We've added a new feature to Delta: Video Tool. This tool lets you easily insert ad breaks, as well as add intros and end credits. With this new feature, end-users can skip the intro and jump straight to the episode, while the end credits feature allows them to move directly to the next episode for a seamless viewing experience.
Video Tool is especially useful for brands delivering content to platforms that support intro/outro skipping and for those incorporating commercial breaks. Additionally, the tool provides a smooth and efficient way to browse through videos for quality control.
New user role in Delta
To make user experience more easier and to prevent accidental errors while working in Delta, we added new user role called "Super user".
Until now, normal “User” in Delta was able to check and work with: settings (like export mapping, image types, ratings, age limits, content providers, tags, validation rules)
After the new deployment normal Users aren´t able to work with settings anymore, and from now on they will have access only to the rights, check in, tasks, content, collections, export & support menu.
Because of the above mentioned changes in Delta, “Super User” role is added.
“Super Users” will be able to access everything like normal user + content management (working with settings). Also, only "Super users" will be able to use export button for exporting mezzanine file (Content->click on the asset -> "Export")
All existing “customer admins and/or brand admins” are now “Super user” automatically.
Customer/brand admins will have to decide who should be able to access settings and then assign the “Super user” role to such users.
👉Customer/brand admins should remove all the old users
👉Note that after assigning “Super user” role to someone, that user will have to re-login to Delta again.
Procedure for Customer /brand admins: Delta-> Admin->Users->Select user->Check “super user” like shown:
1)
2) Select a user
3) Click on “Super User” and then “Save”
New validation for subtitles in Delta
When adding new subtitles in Delta, subtitles will be validated. User experience has been improved by warnings & errors that you will be able to see when uploading subtitles.
You can review the warnings by checking the errors as shown in the picture or there is possibility to export the errors as CSV, PDF or JSON files.
After review, you can either re-deliver new subtitles or click on “Accept Warnings” (and set them to “Done” before the subtitles can be exported.
In case when your subtitles contain “Error” they will not be shown as “Current”, instead you will get this information: “Not eligible for export”. That means that you can either delete it or upload a new file.
NOTE: Because of implementation, all previously added subtitles will have status as “Not Validated” for now, but their validation statuses will be updated in the coming weeks. If you want to check subtitle status you can find it in “Subtitle report”.
Upload multiple subtitles
You can now upload multiple subtitle files in one go. To do this, click on the "Add row" or "Remove row" button to add and remove rows.
