Before You Coach

All CYO coaches must complete the current Archdiocese certification or recertification requirements, along with SMMS volunteer clearance requirements.

VIRTUS Requirement

SMMS requires the Vulnerable Adults module in addition to the other required VIRTUS training.

IMPORTANT! The Vulnerable Adults module is not automatically assigned when registering as a CYO coach. 

Contact volunteers@stmmsa.org to have the module added to your VIRTUS account.

Fingerprinting

CYO coaches must also complete the required fingerprinting process and receive clearance before participating.
