Interested in a place at our Nursery?

Please complete the expression of interest form available here

The Catherine Wheel Nursery is situated in a purpose-built foundation stage unit on the grounds of St Michael's C of E Primary School in New Marston. The Foundation Stage Unit (FSU) is spacious, light, and well-resourced with a large and recently extended garden space that includes a climbing frame, sandpit and forest site. The nursery has places for 24 children aged 3 and 4 and is staffed by very experienced and skilled staff. We are open between 9 am and 3 pm every day during St Michael's term time and currently offer before school care.  The nursery children share the indoor and outdoor space with 30 reception aged children.

Please use this website to find out further information about the staffing, curriculum, admissions, and session times at the Catherine Wheel Nursery. If you would like to arrange a visit or have any questions, we are more than happy to assist you, so please contact the school office at 01865 241476 or
office.3216@st-michaels-oxf.oxon.sch.uk

Nursery-aged children who attend the provision are not pupils of St Michael's C of E Primary School and a formal admissions request needs to be made through Oxfordshire County Council for places in the Reception class. More information is available from the Oxfordshire County Council by clicking here. Those children who are offered a place in the Reception class have a seamless transition from nursery to reception. For those children who will not be joining St Michael's Primary School, staff work with your child's new setting to support their transition and ensure it is as smooth as possible.
