Miniball Information

Miniball 1 starts around the first week of school in Term 1 and runs until Gala Day around end of Term 1 - approximately 8 weeks.

Miniball 2 starts around the first week in May and runs until Mid August -approximately 12 weeks

Miniball 3 starts around the first week in September and runs until Mid December -approximately 12 weeks

Miniball games are played at North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre (36 Hume Street, Crows Nest), at Redlands Lang Gym (Gerard St, Cremorne), Willoughby Leisure Centre (Small St, Willoughby) or at the Marie Bashir Court, Mosman and St Michael's School Lane Cove.

North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre allows 2 hours free parking on Saturdays.

REGISTRATION

St Michael's Basketball Club has an on-line only registration and payment system. Please go to the Registration section in this website for step by step instructions and details.

COACH / MANAGER

For each team we require two volunteers for the positions of Team Coach and Manager for the Saturday games. Duties are to co-ordinate and motivate the team before and during the game and to communicate the game times. These positions are a great way of becoming involved in your child's team. If you are able to take on either of these positions please fill out where indicated on the registration form or advise your Age Coordinator as soon as possible. The team cannot proceed without parents willing to assist.

UNIFORMS

Uniforms are available from Cathy Harris at the school uniform shop.

GRADING

Grading will undertaken for Miniball 1 and Miniball 3 and it will be carried out by the Club's Head Coach and his assistant coaches. Team selections will be based on the results of the grading day.

For all Miniball competitions, once teams are formed, the Club will request specific division placements with Norths based on the relative standard of each team as determined by the Club Age Coordinators, but ultimately this is decided by Norths.

Under 8s teams the club does not hold a grading program for this age group.
