Christmas Music Night on November 29th was a spectacular showcase of musical talent at STMC. The evening featured captivating performances by our choirs, including Grade 8, Junior, Senior, Equinox, and Chamber, filling the air with festive cheer. Our bands—Grade 8, Junior, Senior, Jazz A, and the Wind Quartet—delivered outstanding pieces that highlighted their dedication and skill. The STMC Chamber Choir showcased their vocal talents on October 14th 2024 at the UBC Choral Invitational, performing alongside choirs from across Vancouver's Lower Mainland. The event allowed the students to share their music with a wider audience and appreciate the diverse sounds of other talented choirs. In addition to performing, they had the chance to listen to various groups and gain inspiration from their different styles. The choir also participated in a valuable clinic led by a UBC professor, who offered expert advice on vocal techniques and ways to enhance their singing, helping them grow as musicians and improve their overall performance.
