When we deployed our ROV into the pool, we discovered some flaws. Our power cable is too short so when the bunch of cables goes into the water, it sunk. However, our motors and other parts were fully functional. Our deploy was very smooth, even though the motors filled with water and one of the pvc pipes broke and filled with water but we were able to retrieve it. Our water pump pumped water into the cup which weighed down our robot. Other then that it was pretty successful. Initially, our robot was able to descend but had difficulty ascending because the propeller that brings the robot up and down was off-centered and didn't float properly. We Had to take off some foam to make it float evenly, and wehn we tried it again the pvc came undone again. In the end i had a quite rather delightful time endevring in the adventures of marine exploration.
