Our project aims to find ways to lower ph in the ocean, and our ROV will collect water samples. The ROV can collect from different areas so we will know not to disturb marine life. Then, we will be able to test those samples to then send those sample to scientist and see if they can do something to help. We chose to use a underwater ROV to conduct our research because it is eco-friendly, and doesn't scare away fish - unlike boats. Also, an underwater ROV is budget-friendly unlike a kayak or canoe. We will use a underwater ROV and take ph samples from the ocean and give these results to biologist and fisheries so the fisheries know where not to over fish and help scientist find solutions to lower ph. From there, we can send those results to fisheries and those fisheries where the crustacean population is low, so they will know where to fish less or not fish there at all.
