J. Michael Preetham has been into teaching and training for 27 years. He has been with St. Mary’s College since 2013, prior to which he worked with several prestigious institutions in India and abroad. He comes across as amiable, industrious, dedicated and cordial. He constantly updates himself with the latest developments in the fields of Literature, Language and Soft Skills. A mentor to many, he makes a positive impact on the lives of his students, colleagues and friends. He was earlier the Head of the Department of English and Languages from 2016-2020. He has headed the college’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in 2020-2021. He is the author of the book- Life Skills and Personality Development. Presently he heads the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities.
