Year 4 - Miss Spavold

The children all looked absolutely fabulous in their costumes, fluffiest pyjamas or their best t-shirt and jeans! We started our morning off with breakfast and a book where children could help themself to a croissant and a glass of squash and cosy on down with their favourite book! (Major cafe vibes!) We then had our KS2 parade where we all got to show off our fantastic outfits and cheer other classes on in the school - we had a lot of fun! We then looked at some examples of using different words to make something funny or spooky and we chose a fantastic tale from Beadle the Bard by JK Rowling. The children loved guessing the different words that could be hiding beneath. We also played some very fun 'Who am I?' quizzes and read some of our fantastic class reader book: The Firework Maker's Daughter by Phillip Pullman. After lunch, we had a whole school bedtime story read around and then go to read with our FS2 buddies - super cute photo's incoming!

We had the best last day of term in our comfy clothes and with our silent friends! 

We had a lovely time at our teddy bear picnic on Thursday! We got to meet all of these wonderful teddies and found out their names and what their favourite food was (we found out they really liked the jam tarts!) I'm super proud of all the girls in my class so what a lovely way to celebrate them all being brilliant!

We had a blast at our dodgeball festival on Thursday! We rotated round lots of different activities that were all fun and kept us all on the move! 

Well, what a brilliant morning we have had in Year 4 this morning!! We had a very special visitor on the ROOF this morning and Jack Frost even made it SNOW! The children then got to meet Santa again but this time with their FS2 buddies! Our Year 4 children looked after their buddy and helped them buy items at the Christmas Fayre! We would all like to say a huge thank you to the PTFA for organising such a brilliant event that the children always enjoy! :)

The children have had a fantastic morning in their Christmas jumpers. We made some festive hats and crowns to eat our Christmas dinner in! They all look fab!
