Project 1/Critical Thinking involves analyzing information objectively, evaluating evidence, and making reasoned decisions based on logic and clarity.

Optional 2 Gisting/ "Gisting" refers to the process of summarizing or extracting the main idea or key points of a piece of text, speech, or content. 

 In "Crítica de la Traducción", I explored the analysis and evaluation of translation works. During this course, I had the opportunity to dissect and compare translations, which were intellectually stimulating, as it allowed me to understand language and cultural nuances better. 

I enjoyed the critical adaptation of songs because it allowed me to creatively balance the original meaning, cultural context, and musical elements, making the translation interesting to the audience.

I also enjoyed discovering cultural differences. I appreciated the challenge of interpreting subtle cultural elements and idiomatic expressions.

I learned new vocabulary.  I expanded my language skills and discovered new words and phrases.

I also had to convey meaning accurately. This part intrigued me.  I  worked with Elias.  We enjoyed sharing ideas and perspectives.
