Technology standards are designed to prepare students for future education and careers. These standards are guidelines that lead students learn to use technology correctly and appropriately in today's world. They try to ensure that technology isn't just being used for the sake of using technology.
ISTE, the International Society for Technology in Education, has worked with educators to create standards for the 21st century student. With permission from ISTE, The Archdiocese of Washington adapted its own Technology Student Standards which we are using in our classes now.
By meeting these standards students become
Empowered Learners
Digital Citizens

Innovative Designers
