We are delighted to be welcoming you and your child to St Mary Magdalen’s. It is a true privilege to welcome families to our very special school community.

Unfortunately, the current circumstances mean we do not have finalised dates for the onsite welcome events that would usually take place. However, we have created this site to provide information to help your child prepare for school and to ensure this is an easy and happy transition for you and for them.

We will be posting information about the staff, the school day, the school environment and practicalities such as school dinners and uniform. There are also some forms we would like you to complete so that we can gather some important information about your child.

We will be arranging home visits so you will have a chance to meet your child’s teacher and teaching assistant. These are a great opportunity for us to find out more about your child and to help them understand that home and school will always be working closely together to support them, putting them at ease from the start.

If you have any concerns or queries please do get in touch with the school office who will be able to answer or questions or arrange for another member of staff to contact you.
