HI! My name is Maureen Clark and I am so happy to be teaching 4th grade at SMM. I have always
taught the primary grades and thought that I would never leave it! But now that I am in 4th grade, I
have discovered a whole new world outside the primary classrooms, and I am loving it!
I am a local girl. I grew up in Springfield, attended Holy Cross School and Cardinal Ohara High School.
I attended West Chester University and Neumann University, where I earned both my Elementary
Education and Special Education certificates. I have taught in both parochial and public schools, but
have found I feel most at home in the catholic school classroom. I have four children, all of which have attended or are attending catholic school. Some of my interests are enjoying time with family and friends, visiting the Jersey shore, specifically Sea Isle City, watching sporting events, mostly the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers!
I love the summer because life seems less hectic and I get to spend more time enjoying my family
but I love being in the classroom- it's my home away from home! I enjoy reading and exercising
(when I find the time!) and hanging out with my family and friends.
I look forward to a long relationship with the families and staff at Saint Mary Magdalen School and I
am sure we will have a great year together!
