Islamic Caliphates

This week, we will begin a new unit focusing on the Islamic Caliphates during the Islamic Golden Age and Middle Ages. We will identify the basic cultural and religious practices of the Islamic world, explain how the civilization spread through conquest and cultural diffusion, and analyze the various cultural achievements from the Muslim World.
