Forensics
Students in grades 6-7-8 may have the opportunity to participate on the SMV forensics team. This usually takes place in the fall/winter months and involves competitions throughout the area, culminating in the state meet.
Students on grades 3-4-5 participate in an "in house" forensics tournament during the second semester of the school year.

You will find sample forensics pieces in the attached files below. Please also remember that the SMV library has hundreds of poetry books, famous speeches, short plays and skits, and picture books that can be used for various categories. There is not a designated Forensics section of resources because any book in the library can be crafted into a forensics piece!
