Spelling Homework -
Is my child on the regular list or the challenge list? If your child spelled all of the words correctly with no reversals or capital letters in the wrong place, he/she was assigned the challenge list. He/she is also responsible for being able to read and spell the high frequency words because two of them will be randomly chosen and included on Thursday's test. If your child spelled any words incorrectly on the pretest, he/she was assigned the regular spelling list to study. They are also responsible for being able to correctly read all of the high frequency words. Below are the words for this week. Please review and study them at home with your child.
As an extra means to study the words each week, I have included a link for Spelling City. I also have uploaded different speller's choice activities that your child may use to practice. If your child decides to complete a speller's choice activity, they may return the completed work and earn a golden ticket which can be used to purchase items from our treasure chest at a later time.
