In this group activity we had to pick a host based on their digital footprint. A digital footprint is what someone has done online that correlates to them from, for example, a social media platform. In my group we had to examine two people, a man and a woman, and what they said on an application to see if they would be a good choice for a web TV show. We also looked at their digital footprint on other sites to see them when they are outside of their application. Then we would see who was more honest in their application compared to what we found on their digital footprint.

I do think that it is okay for someone to get selected or rejected for what they post online since it might show more honesty for who they really are. Honesty might need to be discovered to see if they are really honest or not.

Some ways I can control my digital footprint is thinking about what I post or what other people post about me. I need to shape my digital footprint now which will shape my future later. I need to think before I post. I hope that in the future people will find future games I have designed, songs I have sung, or plays I have acted in. I hope in the future my digital footprint will look interesting and friendly.
