For my project I created code that performed an adventure, with a little help. To code it I used Scratch. I made a story where the viewer or player helps the guide to get to the destinations. The purpose of this game is to relax while traveling around the city with different people, I made it where it is kid friendly so there is a possibility middle school students will think it is not interesting. My project has multiple guides that tell you what to do. The guided help you all you have to do is pay attention. I chose to do an adventure because it seemed simple and easier to do then my original plan. My original plan was to have a little beach party with people and then there was going to be a big dramatic problem with a plot twist, but I realized this would have taken years and decided to something more kiddish. The problems I ran into were making my code work I over came the problems by combining the code and making it make sense. I enjoyed this project like I do with many coding projects that are assigned. I liked it because I could create my own adventure. I think Scratch 3 has better tools and blocks for making code which makes it even more fun to play with. I believe the earlier versions were fun for what we had to do but now that I am older I feel that Scratch 3 suited me for this project.
