Scratch Project

For this project, I made a short animation in Scratch. This assignment let us explore the new features of Scratch 3 and it let us code whatever we wanted (game, video, etc.). I wanted to make a short animation and while I was looking through the characters I saw a taco and I decided to make a story about a taco truck and customers. I didn't have too many problems except for getting the timing of the dialogue correct. Then I remembered a feature called "broadcast". With the "broadcast" block, the character would send messages to other character and it will tell them when to say the next line. I was surprised at how much code had to go into the project to make all the timing and positions look good. I enjoyed this project because I could let my imagination create whatever ideas came to mind. I think that Scratch 3 is better than the previous versions because there are many new features that allow the coder to create more complex projects and make the project run smoother.
