In computer class, we did something called the Marshmallow Challenge. Leilah and I had to make a tower out of 20 uncooked pasta straws, one yard of tape, one yard of string, and one marshmallow. The marshmallow had to be on the top. The tower had to be built in 20 minuets. We planned on making a stable building, but we heard that 5th grade was the tallest so far, so it made us want to be the tallest. First we put two sticks taped to the floor. Then we put one stick on top of the two sticks. After that, we put the marshmallow on top. The marshmallow fell instantly. We hurried to build more pillars. Finally we got it to stand. Our tower was to tallest! If I had another chance to build it, I would do it the same because it went very good. I think it went very good because Leilah and I make a great team. We probably did this in computer because it is an online challenge. Science class helped us because we now knew to make pillars stabilized.
