6th Grade
We are working on Chapter 12 Cual es la fecha de hoy? Test May 23.
Vocabulary is in their google classroom and on page 223 in the Spanish is fun textbook.
Sixth grade has a Test on May 23, 2024 it will be over the vocabulary.
7th Grade
We are reviewing numbers 1- 50 and learning to read, write and say 60-100.
I gave them a Vocabulary list with the numbers.
7th grade has a Test over numbers (1-100) on May 6, 2024.
They have worksheets with the information on their Test.
8th Grade
We are reviewing conjugating, sentence structure, translating, and writing a paragraph.
They're last grade will be a over the material we are reviewing in class.
They have worksheets to help them study.

Bienvenidos to an exciting new school year! I am looking forward to working with my students this year on the following:
Vocabulary
Culture - We will be learning about different countries.
Grammar – We will cover a wide variety of objectives in grammar, including parts of speech, diagramming, and conjugating.
Writing – We will be using various types of writing:
Letter Writing
Essays
Reports
We will have regularly scheduled tests every two weeks. You may check my website and the Testing calendar periodically for due dates and test dates.
6th Grade has a Spanish is Fun Textbook
7th Grade has a Red Realidades A Textbook and workbook
8th Grade has a Blue Realidades B Textbook and workbook
You can assist your child in being a successful student in many ways:
Encourage daily use of the planner. (Essential!)
Visit the website for due dates/test dates and encourage studying for all tests/quizzes.
Go over all graded and returned papers with your child to help him/her learn from his/her mistakes.
Review the handbook with your child to ensure that he/she understands policies on grading, late work, and make-up work.
All students will be expected to behave in a respectful manner to ensure a positive learning environment for everyone. No disruptive or disrespectful behavior will be tolerated and will result in disciplinary actions to be outlined in the Middle School Discipline Policy.
