Theme of the Week: Our Five Senses! 👀👃✋👂👄
Story of the Week: My Five Senses by Aliki
What We're Learning:
Let's learn about our five senses and how they help us understand the world around us.
This week we will be focused on the letter Ss. We will do a lot of hands on activities to help us identify and write the letter Ss. We will listen to a letter S song and play a seek and find game to find S. We will also be making an "snake" out of the letter S. During the week, we will be identifying each of our 5 senses and doing a fun activity that highlights each one.
On Monday, it's all about sight and we will play an eye-spy game. 👀
On Tuesday, we are focused on our hearing and will play a listening game. 👂
On Wednesday, we will learn about touch and play a touch, feel, and guess game. 🖐️
On Thursday, we will identify smell and play a smell and guess game. 👃
On Friday, we will finish up with our sense of taste by tasting 3 different kinds of popcorn. 🍿😝
