 "A-Z" ~ Alphabet Review 

 I can’t believe how quickly our school year is approaching. This past week we learned about our last letter….  letter “Z”. We made zoos from the letter “Z”, Students painted zoo animals of their choice. We worked on which animals have stripes and those that don’t. We had zoo animals in our sensory bin and learned some fun songs with animal movements. We are taking full advantage of the warmer weather and we had our last friend zip his coat on Friday. That being said the ice cream party will be Tuesday and Wednesday of this upcoming week. Also Mrs. Dougherty’s room has baby chicks!!!

     For the time remaining we will be reviewing some fun lessons covered throughout the year. I will start evaluating students to see what they may need to work on over the summer. We will be sending rest towels mats home this week and they do not need to be returned. If you are changing your child's scheduled last day please let me know so I have everything ready for them. If you want me to sign books please send them in ASAP, so I have time to think about what I will write. Also, I know the end of the year is hectic, so I have hopefully helped a bit, by having taken pictures of your child with me and printed them. Unless you want another,  they will be in your child’s end of the year bag. I will be posting more pictures from now until the end of the year, so check back often. I want to take the time to thank you for entrusting us with your child here at St. Linus. It has been a pleasure to teach them all. They have grown so much and really are a great bunch of kids. We wish them a wonderful summer and all the best next year.

Reminders

• Last day of 3 Year Preschool for your child  is either Monday, June 1st or Tuesday, June 2nd based on their schedule.

• Everything, other than rest towels, will be sent home of your child will be sent home on their last day

• Last few weeks can be crazy so please remind your child that they are still to follow the class rules

• Any questions please send me a email and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
